I am a Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham, working on characterising exoplanets atmospheres

I am a Research Fellow based at the School of Physics and Astronomy, University of Birmingham. I am broadly interested in investigating the fundamental questions about planetary systems, and how answering them can help us understand our own solar system. I am currently focused on using spectroscopic observations and theoretical models to measure and interpret the atmospheric chemistry, thermal properties, and global climate of extrasolar planets.

As an astronomer working at the interface of theoretical modeling and observational data analysis, I have been developing computationally fast statistical inference frameworks to model and measure the spectroscopic signatures of extrasolar planet atmospheres hidden in the noise and systematics often affecting the data. I have experience analysing cutting edge datasets from the most advanced facilities in the field, including the Very Large Telescope, the Gemini Observatory, and the James Webb Space Telescope.
